In January Danny's parents, Larry and Karen Harris, came home from their LDS mission from the West Indies. To celebrate we met them in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and went on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. The Name of the ship was the Ruby Princess!!! The Ports were....BAHAMAS, ST. THOMAS, ST. MARTEN and GRAND TURKS!!!
First things first, day 1 on the ship you need to go to a mandatory evacuation exercise. I think we were extra happy to participate since the day before another cruise ship had actually sunk.
Larry and Karen at one of our many meals together!!!
The Princess Cay's Island is owned by Princess cruise lines but it is actually part of the Bahamas. The weather looks beautiful in the pictures, but it was actually very windy and CHILLY!!!

awwwwe, we still LOVE each other!!!
After watching an "Illusion" show. Danny performed some of his own illusions for us. He came out of the bathroom with all of his clothes on backwards!!! I kind of think he is funny, but his family... well, they think he is the funniest person on the planet!!! (:
Guess who took the dramamine????

I like this picture because the man behind me looks just as pregnant as me...(:
Well in St. Maarten, the island has two halves, the Dutch half and the French Half. I don't know who had the bright idea to go to the beach on the French side, but the first thing we were able to sight see was a topless woman (who shouldn't have even been in a bathing suit, let alone topless) didn't matter though, because within an hour of making it to the beach there was a torrential downpour!! Luckily we found some shelter in a nice little restaurant and of course... ate!!! (because we were soooo hungry)
In St. Thomas we went on this awesome excursion to swim with the sea turtles, this was an incredible experience for me... I really enjoyed seeing the sea turtles in their natural habitat.
Danny is holding a small sea star...
In this area of the Caribbean, the ocean is actually one of the saltiest locations....even Mitch can float!!!!

so close I could reach out and touch one!
"Governors Beach" at Grand Turks was the highlight of the trip for me. Decent snorkeling, but we could dive and find conch shells. They are in the picture below. To find sea shells like that was definitely a bucket list item in my life!!! Unfortunately we were not able to smuggle ours onto the ship. Sooooo Sad!!!
